Peter Deriemaeker

Peter Deriemaeker is Puratos Group Sales & Customer Officer. He began his career at Puratos in 1986 as Export Manager for the Far East. He has been a member of the Group Executive Committee since 1995, where he first took on the responsibility of the Bakery & Confectionery division.

From 2002 to 2014, he led Puratos’ global development as Global Markets Director. In 2014, he moved to Hong Kong to head Puratos’ new regional office overseeing operations in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions. On January 1, 2024, Peter took on his current role.

With over 40 years at Puratos, Peter has witnessed tremendous changes in the bakery, pastry, and chocolate markets. He holds a Master’s degree in Sinology, a Master’s degree in Economics, and completed several Management Programs at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
