Jan Hertz

Jan Emil Hertz is CCO and Chief Operating Officer for Central & Eastern Europe at Lantmännen Unibake, one of Europe’s leading industrial bakery groups. In this dual role, Jan carries group-wide commercial responsibility whilst also leading the C&EE business area, covering Germany, Poland, Romania and beyond.

Jan brings close to 30 years of senior commercial and general management experience across B2B food, beverages and consumer services. He joined Lantmännen Unibake in 2013 and prior to this held a range of senior leadership positions at Carlsberg Group.

Jan has extensive international experience, having lived and worked for a number of years across Eastern Europe, Western Europe and South East Asia. Jan holds an M.Sc. from Copenhagen Business School and a CEMS Master in International Management from the University of St. Gallen. He is Danish, based near Copenhagen, and fluent in English and German.
