Biography
Caroline Sluyter is the Senior Director of Operations for Oldways, a food and nutrition nonprofit based in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She heads up the Oldways Whole Grains Council (WGC), overseeing the Whole Grain Stamp certification program and leading the WGC’s educational and promotional activities, including a Whole Day for Whole Grain in March, Whole Grains Month in September, and other campaigns throughout the year. She has been active in the Whole Grain Initiative (WGI) since 2017 and has served as board chair for the organization since 2023. She also co-chairs the WGI’s International Working Group on Communications.
Caroline holds a MS from the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and a BA from Smith College.
