Biography

A graduate of Normandy Business School, Didier Boudy is currently Executive Vice President of Emmi Desserts. After beginning his career in selective retail distribution, first in stores and later in purchasing centers, he moved into the food industry in 1995 – a sector he has remained committed to ever since. He initially held positions as Sales Director, Plant Director, and later Managing Director within the meat and processed meat products industry.

Didier joined the Bakery, Viennoiserie and Pastry sector in 2001. He became part of the French subsidiaries of the British group Premier Foods, where he successively served as Sales Director and then Managing Director for France. Supported by investment funds and alongside five managers, he acquired Martine Spécialités in 2009 and became its President. Under his leadership, the company expanded and became Européenne des Desserts. In early 2016, the group was renamed Mademoiselle Desserts.

Following the acquisition of Mademoiselle Desserts by Emmi, Didier became Executive Vice President of Emmi’s new Desserts Division on January 1, 2025. The division now brings together 20 production sites across 6 countries and employs more than 3,600 people.

For more than 15 years, the group has been strongly committed to CSR and publicly shares all of its sustainability reports on its website. In April 2022, the group obtained B Corp certification, and in October 2023, it amended its corporate statutes to become a mission-driven company. The group has also validated its decarbonization targets with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Since September 2021, Didier has been President of the FEB – Fédération des Entrepreneurs de Boulangerie.
